More Inking Practice
Practiced inking on the Cintiq. It's slowly starting to get faster and more comfortable.
I plan to print these out, cut them out, paste them into an art journal page, and paint them. I hope it's a mess.

Beauty and Magic.
We both had terrible colds on Halloween and stayed in bed, so
I drew this pic of my girlfriend so she could still wear a gorgeous costume for
the evening.
Here are more pictures of her (she is also the Fayre Damosel
featured in previous art journal posts). This is why I like to draw. Not
because I’ll ever get especially good but because when you are drawing someone
who has worlds inside of them, all of that can’t help but come out on the
paper. It's magic.
This is why I love to draw her. Because she is so beautiful.
Because she is so magic. I will love her until the day I die and beyond.

Fairytale Cartoon Caricatures in Charcoal
This was huge! Did a caricature art booth at the company fundraiser trunk sale thing, and they turned out great. Here are a few samples.

Happy Dragon
As you can see, I’ve been spending time not practicing
coloring. Expressions are another story.
I would like to do some more prim pieces like this little Waldorf
doll camping, with the moon and stars in front of the trees instead of behind. Whimsical,
good for my beginner level of mixed media skills.
Most of the sketching I do is for characters that are either
not in any shape to be seen yet, or they are part of a secret project. So I plan to
put more effort into having enough practice pieces that I can share as
frequently as I want. Finishing things, even a messy art journal page, takes me
so much time. Sketches are easier, but maybe some finished art journal pages
will go up soon too.
